I'm considering a rinse that would cover up my grey but not change my pigmented strands. What are some products available at a CVS or Walgreens that work well?
Also, if I were to have a professional do it, what would I ask for? Please inform me of the vocabulary I need to get what I want and avoid hair misunderstandings (and tears!).
Thanks.What's a good, over-the-counter (i.e. non-salon), non-permanent, grey-covering hair rinse for women?
I dont know of any rinses that cover gray (not saying they dont exist, just no knowledge). You could try a non-permanent color made for gray coverage. Natural Instincts makes a nice one--not damaging at all and covers gray great. Just find a shade as close to your hair as possible. Do a strand test also---just so you know exactly what it will look like and how long to leave it. If you go to a professional, just ask for gray coverage and non-permanent. I have a hard time relaying to hair care professionals what I want also. So I just stopped going. I just covered the gray myself and said forget about it.What's a good, over-the-counter (i.e. non-salon), non-permanent, grey-covering hair rinse for women?
Grocery store. Buy food coloring and mix the green and red to make brown. Work it into your hair.
Natural Instincts is a brand at the grocery store that is not permanent. Also you can go to Sally Beauty supply or another beauty supply store and they have many to choose from and the sales person is usually very helpful and you can get everything you need for under 20 dollars.
