What is the limit amount of money i sould pay in getting my hair dyed at a salon?

i have black hair and i want to dye it brown At ulta is cost $60 to get it done and i think its too much and i will like to know if i do it in another salon for $20 will i end up with the same results.What is the limit amount of money i sould pay in getting my hair dyed at a salon?
$60 isnt actually a bad price. Im skeptical that a salon would charge only $20 for color, because after they pay for the color, developer, shampoo, styling products, and other things, they arent making a profit.
